The Greenwich Township Open Space Committee is currently working on maintaining open space in our township!

Proposed Greenwich Wildflower and Grassland Improvement Project

Grasslands are characterized by their tall perennial grasses and lack of trees. Grasslands represent a unique ecosystem that provides many benefits including erosion control, water quality protection, wildlife habitat and educational opportunities. When compared with mowed turf areas grasslands offer many advantages. Below are some documents with more information: (all documents in PDF format)
